WOW - well again, I took a picture that doesn't look half as awesome as it did in person! This was the only thing I kept missing about working at 8am instead of 7am like I do now (definitely did not miss that traffic!!) But I'm excited because I should be able to see this at 7am after the time change this weekend :-)

Day 99 - SUN

Why did I pick sun for the first theme? There's like no clouds and I only have a couple of ideas.. anyway, I love the way these red tree's look when the sun is shining on them. I guess you can't really see it in this pic, but the sun IS shining on it, it's just behind a thin layer of cloud. But in person, the red color looks so bright and vibrant, it's so pretty :-)

Day 98 - Sun, no WATER

So um..... haha... I totally thought all day that the theme was water (which was another theme I'm going to do..) so I took this at work. Then I got home & realized it's Sun! So I had my idea, went outside, but i was about 5 min too late, the sun had already set behind the houses to the west.. sooooo since I had no sun pictures today, I'm using this :-P

I've decided to take on the project again :-P
I got really bored with it before and then after the wedding I thought I could make it more fun by making weekly themes.. so after I saw tonight's awesome sunset, this week's theme is........SUN!

Programs are done! Yay! I figured out that the memory card doesn't save aperture because it's adjusted on the lens, not the camera. So I better remember what I use!

Woo Hoo! My Nikon is back! Kind of :-P I have a temporary 50mm lens until I get a new one. It's a Series E lens (from like the 80's) so I have to use manual settings. Eek! But that'll at least teach me to actually use them efficiently! We'll see. Anyway, I was just testing it out tonight to see if it'd work.

Ok, first of all, I've decided to do this project differently for the next month. Because I'm getting so busy, I'm forgetting a lot of days to take pictures or I just don't have time to upload something. So for the next month or so, I'll be uploading a picture when I can/remember :-) I'm not worrying about the 'days' so I'll just end up finishing this project a few days late.

Anyway, so today's picture is of a container of Parmesan Cheese because we were eating pizza for dinner & Tim told me to look at the date that it expires. Hehehe! (for those of you who don't get it, that's our wedding date.)

Well.. since the only pictures I took today were our first gift for the wedding (came from my aunt in FL!) and Tim's ring, I figured I'd just post the ring :-) I bought a different one made out of Tungsten but it turned out to be too big & Tungsten can't be resized. So I found a similar style ring that I liked. This one's made out of Titanium & it fits!

It was last min cause I forgot so I didn't get to do what I wanted to. Anyway, I realized after I got these that she probably already has a Disney Princess set. I had another eye appt today & got new contacts to try out since the 1st ones didn't seem quite as clear as they could be. But the doc said that's the problem with Toric contacts (for an astigmatism) is that they move around. We'll see tomorrow! I was just taking them out of their packaging here & putting them in their case :-P

This is one of my favorite things. Because of the weather today, I was waiting for this to happen. However, I find it hard to capture good pictures of sun rays through the clouds unless it's totally cloudy. It was pretty bright here.

Got enough toys? I went to PetSmart today to get Casper some food & then I went crazy and bought Greyson & Bentley a couple toys :-) Here's Grey checking out his before I put it in his cage. Tim took me to Panther Beach today as an early birthday present. It was nice & then we went to this awesome restaurant, Bella Roma. :-)
I broke my lens though. I think it was already breaking for the past few years (it was the cheap 18-55mm that comes with the camera), but it got worse today and then I tried to unzoom it and it broke. :-( Time to find a new one!
